Biological Dynamics and Devices Lab in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applicants for PhD student and postdoctoral scholar positions in the areas of cellular mechanics and concussion biomechanics.

KurtLab launches! Stevens announces new faculty for Fall'16

"Stevens Institute of Technology announced today that 19 new members have joined its faculty cohort for academic year 2016-17, hailing from such institutions as Stanford, Carnegie Mellon and UNC-Chapel Hill. Mehmet Kurt joins Stevens as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bogazici University in Turkey and a doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in mechanical engineering. His research interests include biomechanics, biomedical devices and structural health monitoring. Prior to joining Stevens he served as a postdoctoral scholar in the bioengineering department at Stanford University, where he researched the biomechanics of brain injury."
